What is Friday Night Funkin': The Tricky Mod?

Are you prepared to face a new foe? Tricky the Clown, the sinister clown protagonist of the game Madness Combat, appears as a guest character. His face will be covered with a large mask to protect his identity, but once you get past him in one of your battles, you'll see his terrible appearance. Enjoy two new special songs called "Improbable Outset" and "Madness" which will require a lot of patience and practice if you want to play them without failing. Meanwhile, your girlfriend will be sitting on a large speaker, anticipating your victory.

Game Rules

The Tricky Mod modifies a few of the game's rules. Arrows with flames and halos harm your health, so you should avoid hitting those keys on purpose. The HP Gremlin is an NPC that depletes your health whenever it appears. When stop signs appear, your view will be obstructed.

How? Press the corresponding arrow keys when you see matching floating arrow symbols above BF. If you miss it too many times in a row, you lose and must start over, which happens when your health meter is completely depleted. Enjoy!

Who exactly is Tricky FNF?

While Boyfriend and Girlfriend remain unchanged from the original FNF version, the Tricky Mod pits the boyfriend against Tricky, a shape-shifting character. Tricky is a monster from the popular video game series 'Madness Combat.'

Cut scenes are included in the Tricky Mod to further engage players. The game begins with a text informing you that you are in Nevada. Tricky the Clown then appears from the rock to fight alongside you.

Tricky During the 'Improbable Outset' battle, the Clown appears ghastly with a dark mask on, and his appearance does not improve during the subsequent rounds. In a violent cut scene, the mask is removed, revealing his clown-like appearance for the 'Madness' round.

During the 'Hellclown' round, Tricky stays true to his name by transforming into an entirely new look that is filled with fire. During the 'Expurgation' rap battle, Tricky transforms into a skeleton figure.
