FNF: Funkin Drones is a demo mod for Friday Night Funkin’ based on Murder Drones, a popular animated web series from Glitch Productions. The series is set in a dystopian future where worker drones and "murder drones" battle for survival. The mod takes inspiration from this universe, placing the player in a musical battle where Boyfriend, now in robotic form, faces off against Uzi Doorman and Thad.

With only one song available in this demo version, players get a taste of what could potentially evolve into a full mod release. The mod boasts a unique track, striking visuals, and a cybernetic atmosphere that aligns with the dark and robotic aesthetic of Murder Drones.

The Rules of FNF: Funkin Drones

Much like the original Friday Night Funkin’, the gameplay in FNF: Funkin Drones follows the familiar rhythm-based mechanics:

Match the Arrows: Players must press the corresponding arrow keys (or WASD) in sync with the notes that appear on the screen. Timing and precision are key to hitting the right beats and avoiding missed notes.
Keep Your Health Bar Up: As with all FNF mods, hitting notes successfully keeps your health bar from depleting. Missing too many notes or falling out of rhythm will lower your health bar, leading to a game over if it reaches zero.
Battle Through a Single Song: The demo currently includes just one song, but it’s a high-energy track that will test your skills. Stay focused throughout the track to complete the confrontation between Boyfriend, Uzi, and Thad.
